“ Grace Place ” was formerly known as Sunday School
for us but in one of our Staff meetings someone suggested that Sunday
School be a “ Grace Place ,” where lives are changed by the grace of
God, and it stuck. Since that time we have tried to fulfill that
mission and make Grace Place a time where each individual can grow in the
grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We offer classes for everyone from Nursery through
Senior Adults.
The Nursery
is for children newborn to age 2. They are cared for by Kelly Campbell.
Preschoolers
are ages 2 through 5. Bob and Shirley Barbee are their very enthusiastic
teachers. They share Bible stories and lesson appropriate crafts with
their students.
Primaries
are 1st graders through 3rd. Yvonne Lambert is their teacher and
she welcomes new members who are eager to learn about Jesus.
Juniors
are 4th through 6th graders. This is also an age where learning is
exciting. Edith Bailey is their teacher and she is a very dedicated
supporter and encourager of her students.
Our Teen class
is for grades 7 through 12. Brad Keaton and Lee Inman teach this group and
provide guidance and support for our teenagers at Temple.
New Horizons
is a class for young adults who have graduated from high school. It is
composed of college students and young couples who are just starting out
in life. They enjoy a variety of teaching methods by Pam Burgess and Drew Proffitt.
HomeBuilders is
a class for married couples. This group uses a variety of material
to help them work through the challenges of maintaining a healthy
marriage, raising children and building homes that glorify the Lord. They
are a fun-loving, supportive group and are led by Jeff and Lisa Hadden.
'Success'
is a class of assorted ages and consists of married and unmarried
adults. Mike Garland and Lynn Newton lead this group. They use a variety
of Bible studies for small groups. Come join them and experience the full
potential that God intends for you to have with joy, victory, and
satisfaction every day.
The Vaughn Fellowship
Class is the home of our Senior adults.
This class provides the example that the rest of Grace Place strives to
follow. They are also a fun-loving group who love each other and their
church. Ray Caldwell and Ginger Alley are their teachers.
“Grace Place” is a place where lives are changed
